Voluntariness has changed: The new Non-Financial Information and Diversity Law (Law 11/2018, (of December 28) requires certain organizations to report information annually on environmental issues, issues social and relating to personnel, respect for human rights, fight against corruption and bribery and information about itself society.
The affected companies must prepare a report on Corporate Social Responsibility, Sustainability Report o Integrated report, which must be disclosed on the company's website during the first six months after the end of the fiscal year and must remain available for at least five years.
In addition, the report on the status of non-financial information of these organizations must be carried out in the first months of 2019 and will have to be verified by an independent verification service provider.
