Last week, in INCYMA, We carried out important inspection work in the inland beaches, marinas y boatThese inspections are essential to ensure compliance with the rigorous criteria established by the Blue Flag award in Extremadura. ADEAC (Environmental and Consumer Education Association).
WHAT IS BLUE FLAG?
The Blue Flag It is an international distinction that recognizes those beaches, marinas and boats that meet high standards in five key areas:
- Environmental Management: Ensure that facilities and services manage natural resources and waste sustainably.
- Security: Verify that the inspected areas offer a safe environment for visitors and users.
- Water Quality: It ensures that the water is of high quality and suitable for bathing.
- Conservation of Natural Spaces: It promotes the protection and conservation of local ecosystems.
- Environmental Education: It promotes education and awareness about the importance of caring for the environment.
Currently, there are a total of 9 beaches, 1 marina and 1 vessel with the #blue flag distinction distributed throughout the Extremadura territory:
