We have great news! AGUAS DEL SUROESTE, better known as WATERS OF THE CLIFFS, is one of the pioneering companies in the water sector in Spain to carry out the verification of Carbon Footprint under the ISO 14064-1 standard.
CARBON FOOTPRINT IN THE CLIFFS
Throughout 2022, we have been working side by side with THE CLIFFS so that they can find out what their Carbon Footprint From here, make their processes more environmentally sustainable.
Such has been the work done that it has finally borne the expected fruit: receiving the certificate… And what a certificate it is! Because THE CLIFFS It becomes a pioneer in its sector, as well as being one of the first companies in Extremadura to obtain this seal.
The entire verification part of Carbon Footprint, has been carried out by the certification body EQA, who finally granted the certificate.

In their pursuit of excellence and, above all, in their commitment to the environment, they have not only calculated Carbon Footprint They have not only implemented ISO 14064-1 certification, but have also designed an environmental management system based on ISO 14001:2015, which allows them to improve all their processes from a sustainability perspective. This demonstrates, once again, their commitment to the environment and to reducing the environmental impact of their operations.
