We have great news! AGUAS DEL SUROESTE, better known as WATERS OF THE CLIFFS, is one of the pioneering companies in the water sector in Spain to carry out the verification of Water footprint under the ISO 14046:2014 standard.
WATER FOOTPRINT ON THE CLIFFS
We have spent many months working side by side with THE CLIFFS so that they can verify their Water footprint and make their processes more environmentally sustainable.
Such has been the work done that it has finally borne the expected fruit: RECEIVING THE CERTIFICATE… And what a certificate! Because THE CLIFFS It becomes a pioneer in its sector, as well as being one of the first companies in Extremadura to obtain this seal.
The entire verification part of Water Footprint, has been carried out by the certification body EQA, who finally granted the certificate.
SUSTAINABILITY, WATER FOOTPRINT, CARBON FOOTPRINT AND ISO 14001
In their pursuit of excellence and, above all, in their commitment to the environment, they have not only calculated Water Footprint in accordance with ISO 14046:2016, but also, the organization already knows what its CO2 emissions are, thanks to the verifications of Carbon Footprint under the ISO 14064-1 standard, carried out since 2022, verifying their calculations year after year. In addition to these two standards, they also have an environmental management system under ISO 14001:2015, which allows them to improve all their processes from a sustainability perspective.
This demonstrates once again their commitment to the environment and reducing the environmental impact of their processes.
