INCYMA PREPARES THE NON-FINANCIAL INFORMATION STATEMENT OF GRUPO CONESA

DSince 2019, INCYMA has worked on the preparation of the Non-Financial Information Statement (NFIS) of EMP GROUPRESARIAL CONESA, SL, whose external verification has been carried out by AENOR last January 2020.

CONESA BUSINESS GROUP, SL, is a business group dedicated to the production of concentrated tomato and other derived products, from the processing of tomatoes, it has production/processing plants in Spain, Portugal, the United States and China, being the 1st producer at the European level and the 6th worldwide of concentrated tomato.

Law 11/2018, of INon-Financial Information and Diversity, This applies to financial years beginning on or after January 1, 2018, and requires certain companies to submit, along with their audited accounts, a statement of Non-Financial Information Companies that meet the following requirements:

  • That the average number of workers employed by the company or group, as the case may be, during the exercise is greater than 500.
  • That either they are considered entities of public interest in accordance with the audit legislation, and for two consecutive financial years, they meet at the closing date of each of them, individually or consolidated as the case may be, at least two of the following circumstances:
    1. That the total value of the assets exceeds 20,000,000 euros.
    2. That the net amount of the annual turnover exceeds 40,000,000 euros.
    3. That the average number of workers employed during the year is greater than 250.

The transitional provision of Law 11/2018 stipulates that, from 2021, the obligation to submit the statement of Non-Financial Information It will apply to all those companies with more than 250 workers that either qualify as entities of public interest in accordance with the auditing legislation or, for two consecutive financial years, meet at least one of the following circumstances at the closing date of each of them:

    1. That the total value of the assets exceeds 20,000,000 euros
    2. That the net amount of the annual turnover exceeds 40,000,000 euros.
