With the DIAGNOSIS done by our Equality Plan, We're almost at the halfway point. But before we begin its end, we need to start with the Design of the Equality Plan.

As we have already discussed in previous posts Not just any equality plan will do. The objective of the Plan is to achieve real equality between men and women in my company, through the implementation and monitoring of measures.

To achieve that goal, we need to enrich our content plan. But… what content can I include in my plan?

  1. Context and commitment. In this section, we can address the following:
    • Legislative framework.
    • Determination of the parties involved.
    • Management Commitment.
    • Personal, territorial and temporal scope, with a maximum of 4 years' notice.
  1. Scope and validity. We need to make clear what the scope of my plan will be and how long it will be valid.
  1. Main objectives to be achieved. Within my Equality Plan I have to establish qualitative and quantitative objectives.
  2. Summary and conclusions of the diagnosis. Along with the summary and conclusions, don't forget to include the remuneration audit.
  3. Scope of action.

TIMELINE: SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES + ACTIONS + TIMELINES + RESPONSIBLE PARTIES

It is advisable to separate general or main objectives from specific objectives, as well as to organize the measures according to the sections analyzed in the diagnostic phase. Remember to include a comprehensive overview for each area of action.

  1. Monitoring and evaluation.

And finally, we have to include the following as mandatory fields: APPENDICES of:

  • Composition and functioning of the Commission.
  • Modification procedure.
