{"id":2585,"date":"2022-07-15T12:22:11","date_gmt":"2022-07-15T10:22:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.incyma.es\/inicio\/?p=2585"},"modified":"2022-07-15T12:23:18","modified_gmt":"2022-07-15T10:23:18","slug":"ifs-acerca-la-sostenibilidad-a-la-industria-alimentaria","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.incyma.es\/en\/ifs-acerca-la-sostenibilidad-a-la-industria-alimentaria\/","title":{"rendered":"IFS BRINGS SUSTAINABILITY CLOSER TO THE FOOD INDUSTRY"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Last June 2022, <strong>IFS<\/strong> developed the <strong>IFS ESG Check<\/strong>, which helps to assess the sustainability status quo in a company and to systematically and efficiently implement ESG (environmental, social and governance) principles.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This self-assessment includes criteria for companies in environmental, social and governance matters, which will need to be addressed to guarantee our commitment to sustainability.<\/p>\n<p><strong>IFS ESG Check<\/strong> It has a basic module and an optional additional module.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Basic module<\/span>It focuses on registering a company&#039;s &quot;sustainability management system&quot;. It has 11 requirements and 29 mandatory self-assessment questions.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Optional add-on module:<\/span> allows companies\u00a0<span data-contrast=\"auto\">evaluate your carbon footprint management system\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">and determine its footprint<\/span>. It has 6 requirements and 29 questions. For calculating the carbon footprint, <strong>IFS<\/strong> has created the ECOZOOM calculation tool, which is adapted to the food industry.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The <strong>IFS ESG Check<\/strong> It can be included in the IFS certification, as the module can be carried out on-site with Food or remotely with Broker and is applicable to both IFS-certified and non-certified companies.
