{"id":2177,"date":"2021-02-04T18:26:15","date_gmt":"2021-02-04T17:26:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.incyma.es\/inicio\/?p=2177"},"modified":"2021-02-04T18:28:35","modified_gmt":"2021-02-04T17:28:35","slug":"tienes-disenado-tu-plan-de-cultura-de-seguridad-alimentaria","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.incyma.es\/en\/tienes-disenado-tu-plan-de-cultura-de-seguridad-alimentaria\/","title":{"rendered":"DO YOU HAVE DESIGNED YOUR FOOD SAFETY CULTURE PLAN?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Little by little, the concept of <strong>\u201cFood Safety Culture\u201d<\/strong> It is gaining ground in our daily lives, becoming a fundamental pillar in Food Safety management.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">But\u2026 what do we mean by Food Safety Culture?<\/span> ?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The first thing we need to be clear about is that the concept of <strong>Food culture<\/strong> It is different from the concept of <strong>Behavior<\/strong>, since the tendency is to confuse both terms.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The <strong>Food Safety Culture<\/strong> We can define it as the set of attitudes, values, and beliefs shared by a group of people; therefore, the result of these attitudes, values, and beliefs will determine our level of commitment and maturity. <strong>Quality and Food Safety Management System<\/strong> while behavior is something that can be clearly observed.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Therefore, the <strong>Food Safety Culture<\/strong> It has to do not only with behavior, but also with the attitudes, values, beliefs or prejudices of people, among others, within an organization, in order to guarantee food safety within it.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><strong>What do we need to consider before implementing a Food Safety Culture plan?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">When implementing a <strong>Food Safety Culture Plan<\/strong>, We must take into account the background of our staff, as this will influence their daily work behavior and, in turn, this behavior, whether positive or negative, will have consequences for our organization.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Background \u2013&gt;<\/strong><strong> Behavior \u2013&gt;<\/strong><strong> Consequences<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">For these reasons, it is very important to know the level of maturity in my company.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><strong>And\u2026 how do I plan my food culture plan?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">As an example, we propose these 6 phases:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">\u2705 PHASE 1: Self-assessment of staff, by hierarchy levels.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">\u2705 PHASE 2: Review of self-assessment data.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">\u2705 PHASE 3: On-site evaluation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">\u2705 PHASE 4: Define the Food Security Action Plan.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">\u2705 PHASE 5: Follow-up.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">\u2705 PHASE 6: Confirm with a self-assessment the continuous improvement of the food safety culture plan.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Having a good Food Culture Plan in place will give us the keys to properly manage our Food Quality and Safety System, obtain good results and, at the same time, minimize risks as much as possible.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/mygfsi.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/GFSI-Food-Safety-Culture-Full-Paper-SP.pdf\" class=\"small-button smallblue\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">GFSI GUIDE TO FOOD CULTURE<\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>SHALL WE TALK?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">? 618 486 932\u00a0 \u00a0 ? <a href=\"mailto:info@incyma.es\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">info@incyma.es<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Source: DNV Global and GFSI.
