INCYMA\u00a0<\/a><\/strong>has participated in the project\u00a0Social & Green Business Network<\/strong>, under the acronym\u00a0SGBnet<\/strong>. This program was created by\u00a0SGS<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0in collaboration with\u00a0Finnova<\/a><\/strong>, which has the support of the Empleaverde Program, an initiative launched by the Biodiversity Foundation<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0of the\u00a0Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Food and Environment\u00a0<\/strong>through the European Social Fund within the framework of the Operational Programme Employment, Training and Education during the period 2014-2020.<\/p>\n

\"\"The training program promoted by SGS concluded in Brussels on December 5, 2018. For three days, in collaboration with the StartUp Europe Accelerator of the\u00a0Finnova Foundation<\/a><\/strong>, It has given nine entrepreneurs from Andalusia, Extremadura, and the Region of Murcia the opportunity to receive training and network in the European capital. In the words of\u00a0Cristina Giron\u00e9s<\/strong>,\u00a0SGS Project Manager<\/strong>, \u201cGreen and social entrepreneurship must be in the DNA of businesses, and these business initiatives must be made visible to enhance their sustainability. That is why SGBnet has promoted the best green and social initiatives, offering them the opportunity to be heard in the main forums in Brussels, thus connecting our entrepreneurs with other European experiences and actors.\u201d.<\/p>\n

\"\"During the day on Monday\u00a0December 3<\/u>, After visiting the Finnova facilities, the green entrepreneurs were able to attend the\u00a0Regional Office of Extremadura in Brussels<\/strong>, in which we met withC\u00e9sar Morcillo<\/strong>, Director of the Extremadura Office in Brussels. We also attended the\u00a0European Economic and Social Committee<\/strong>, in which we received advice from\u00a0Arturo I\u00f1iguez Yuste<\/strong>, Administrator in the NAT Agriculture and Fisheries Section of the European Economic and Social Committee. Finally, we held a meeting with\u00a0Blanca S\u00e1ez<\/strong>, from the EU LIFE Unit in the\u00a0Delegation to the European Union of the Official Chamber of Commerce of Spain in Belgium and Luxembourg<\/strong>. Finally, and after a session of\u00a0mentoring on EU funds\u00a0<\/strong>in charge of\u00a0Juan Manuel Revuelta,\u00a0<\/strong>CEO of Finnova, we all enjoyed a dinner discussion.<\/p>\n

\"\"During the second day of Tuesday\u00a0December 4th<\/u>, we visited the\u00a0Committee of the Regions,\u00a0<\/strong>where we were received by\u00a0Gustavo L\u00f3pez,\u00a0<\/strong>Head of Cohesion Policies at the Committee of the Regions. We also had the opportunity to visit the\u00a0European Commission<\/strong>, where\u00a0Cristina Lobillo<\/strong>, The Head of the Cabinet of the European Commissioner for Climate Action and Energy spoke to us about opportunities to advance various projects within the EU. We also attended the presentation of the European Water Platform (WSStp) on water management by [name of organization missing].\u00a0Durk Krol<\/strong>, Executive Managing Director. This second day ended with a mentoring session, led by\u00a0Wilber D\u00edez, Araceli Garc\u00eda and Javier Monteagudo\u00a0<\/strong>on communication and marketing actions in the field of entrepreneurship projects and events.<\/p>\n

Finally, on Wednesday\u00a0December 5th\u00a0<\/u>We visited the UNED headquarters in Brussels, where we learned about the EU's legal and administrative framework from Mar\u00eda Casado, Director of UNED. This talk was followed by a masterclass on EU funding for environmental and energy startups through a meeting with Belgian startups from the Start it @KBC program.<\/p>\n
