Las normas ISO se revisan de forma periódica para mantenerse alineadas con el entorno económico, social y tecnológico. La ISO 9001:2026 es la primera revisión completa desde 2015 e incorpora la enmienda sobre cambio climático publicada en 2024. 

Qué cambia en la ISO 9001:2026 respecto a la versión 2015 

En la nueva versión la estructura general de la norma se mantiene, por lo que las empresas ya certificadas no tendrán que rehacer su sistema de gestión. Lo que sí incluye la nueva revisión son actualizaciones orientadas a reforzar la gestión de la calidad.  

Los principales cambios de la ISO 9001:2026 son los siguientes:

• Mayor peso del liderazgo y de la cultura de calidad dentro de la organización. 

• Incorporación de la conducta ética como parte de la gestión. 

• Tratamiento diferenciado de los riesgos y las oportunidades. 

• Integración del cambio climático y del entorno digital en el análisis de contexto. 

• Nueva estructura armonizada que facilita integrar la ISO 9001 con otras normas ISO, como la ISO 14001 o la ISO 45001. 

Calendario de transición de la ISO 9001:2026 

La ISO 9001:2026 se publicó el 16 de septiembre de 2026. A partir de esa fecha se abre un periodo de transición de tres años, por lo que los certificados conforme a la ISO 9001:2015 deberán adaptarse antes de septiembre de 2029. 

Durante la transición conviven ambas versiones, pero conviene no dejar la adaptación para el final, ya que la revisión del sistema y la auditoría de transición requieren tiempo. 

Qué debe hacer una empresa ya certificada 

Aunque la estructura general se mantiene, cada organización afronta la transición desde una situación distinta. Para adaptarse a la ISO 9001:2026, una empresa certificada debería revisar los siguientes puntos: 

1. Actualizar el análisis de contexto, incluyendo el cambio climático y el entorno digital. 
2. Evaluar el liderazgo y la cultura de calidad de la organización. 
3. Revisar la gestión de riesgos y oportunidades. 
4. Planificar la transición con margen suficiente antes de la fecha límite.

WHAT IS AN ELECTRO-INTENSIVE CONSUMER?

To obtain the condition of energy-intensive consumer, The company's annual energy consumption must have been greater than 1 GWh during two of the three previous years and consumption during off-peak hours must be at least 50% of the total energy consumed.

WHO IS THIS GRANT FOR?

Private companies that own a supply point or facility, whatever their legal form, and that meet the following requirements:

1. Be validly constituted in accordance with the regulations in force at the time of submitting the application.
2. To be in possession of certificate of energy-intensive consumer.
3. Carry out in each of the facilities or supply points for which the subsidy is requested one or more activities in the sectors listed in Annex I of this order under the CNAE codes specified therein.
4. To prove having borne the charges in the prices of the electricity supply corresponding to the year 2022.
